A Must Have

I really did not need another pc but last year I purchased the Chuwi Hero mini pc, I cannot believe how well it performed, this year I was just browsing and saw the UBox, specs were very interesting, I purchased and It performs great! I would recommend to my friends for sure. The Hero box will come with me when traveling, so much better then a laptop as I always have access to a monitor.

Great Little Computer

I was looking for a low cost mini PC with AMD hardware that I could use as a secondary PC. This little Chuwi PC does everything I need it to do!

I use it for web browsing, blu-ray disc ripping, video encoding, and photo editing, and it handles everything quickly and quietly. I've had other mini PCs that got noticeably loud under CPU load, but this one runs quietly all the time.

Despite its tiny size, it has all the ports I could want. With HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C, it can handle up to three monitors. I use two monitors at 1440p each.

The dual 2.5Gb ethernet ports allow for fast transfer speeds over my 2.5Gb equipped home network.

There are four USB ports, which is all I needed for my keyboard, mouse, and USB optical drive.

I have not tested its gaming capabilities (because I already have another PC for gaming), but the included AMD Radeon 660M GPU should allow for some PC gaming. Based on online benchmarks I have read, you probably can't play high end games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Baldur's Gate III on this, but you should be able to run games like Diablo IV and The Witcher 3, especially if you lower the visual settings.

The AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor is a really nice efficient 6-core chip that works very well for most any task outside of gaming.

It came with a 512GB solid state drive, which is more than enough for my purposes, but there is a second M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 if I need to add storage.

The included 16GB of DDR5 RAM is great for what I need, but there is room for upgrades if needed.

Windows 11 Pro is included with the PC, which is a nice bonus. I would have been fine with the Home version though.

Overall, this is an excellent inexpensive little PC that does everything I need it to do.
